WARSAW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Poland's Orlen has reduced the share of Russian oil imports in its portfolio to 30% from 50%, CEO Daniel Obajtek told newspaper Rzeczpospolita on Monday.
"Our group used to refine more than 50% of oil other than Russian this year… At the day… (of the special operation’s start) we ceased to buy Russian oil shipped by sea and ordered 28 tankers from alternative sources. This way about 70% of oil in the portfolio of the entire group was not produced in Russia," Obajtek said.
He added that Orlen had three contracts with Russian suppliers, one of which was to expire in January 2023.
